26 Sep Hospital Commissioning Training
TAHPI commenced its new Hospital Commissioning Courses in the City of Jeddah Saudi Arabia. The first course was conducted in association with the White Cell Group (WCG) from the 10th to the 18th September 2019. TAHPI provided 3 expert trainers, Aladin Niazmand (Health Planner), Dr Muna Bassay (Clinical Practice) and Harris Qureshi (MEP Engineer).
The course attracted 17 participants from a variety of management, engineering and medical backgrounds covering both the public and private sectors. The course was also broadcast on the web, enabling several students from Egypt to participate.
On the final day, exams were conducted, giving a choice of 90 questions out of 120 questions within 90 minutes. All participants were successful, 7 Participants exceeded the total by as much as 20 points. The course followed the full spectrum of hospital commissioning.
We congratulate all participants on their excellent efforts and look forward to seeing them practice the Science and Art of Hospital Commisisoning in the near future.
As of late 2019 these Commissioning Courses will be available within Saudi Arabia on a regular basis. As of 2020, these Commissioning Courses will also be available in Dubai. Please refer to the TAHPI website Education link for further information as courses become available.
