King Abdullah bin Abudlaziz Medical City moving on to the next phase

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City, a prominent Healthcare project in which TAHPI has worked on the master planning, design and medical planning  is moving according to schedule and is nearing the completion of the preparatory work, this phase of digging, land levelling, road paving makes the site ready for the construction phase of the hospital.

Recently the President of Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Dr Khalid Abdul Rahman Al-Ohaly toured the site and announced that the university is mobilizing to enter the second phase of the project and is set to qualify contractors to build the Medical City.

The 300 bed Medical City, will have 15 operating rooms, full range of outpatient clinics and advance laboratories and pharmacy, as well as a  medical training college for medicine students from GCC countries.

The project which is much celebrated is a gift from the late Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the AGU and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
